Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Arash Khomami Fayaz of Glendale and listed his race as White/Caucasian.

RIP ARASH KHOMAMI FAYAZ (January 15, 1982 – October 9, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:10 p.m.

The government investigator added “Khomami” to the full name on November 3.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 15, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.

The decedent had an extensive arrest record in L.A. County alone. Among the arrests by Glendale PD between October 2021 and March 2023 were approximately thirty charges including possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a peace officer, battery, burglary, vandalism, unlawful use of personal identifying information, disobeying domestic relations court order, and threats of violence.

His name appears to be Iranian / Persian.
