The coroner’s office identified the man as Anton Fischer, resident of East Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach 90802.

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:28 p.m.

The decedent was an off-duty Long Beach police officer who was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a Jeep.
