Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Antoinette Marabou.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Cause of Death B: Left Subclavian Vein Thrombosis

Cause of Death C: Blunt Trauma of Left Arm

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Heart Disease; Diabetes Mellitus

RIP ANTOINETTE MARABOU (September 19, 1967 – October 6, 2020)

This case was classified as an accident and not a natural death (embolism, thrombosis) presumably because it was the blunt trauma that preciipitated the sequence of events that led to the death.
