(L.A.) Anthony Ortiz, 23, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Anthony Ortiz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:47 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Anthony Ortiz” in public records.
