Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old male in Altadena.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Mitchell.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustions and Thermal Injury
RIP ANTHONY MITCHELL (November 16, 1956 – January 8, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
The decedent perished in the Eaton Fire. His remains were found in the 100 block of West Terrace Street.
He apparently was with his son Justin, whose remains were found on January 10.
