Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Macias.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ANTHONY MACIAS (January 2, 1987 – May 16, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:55 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on February 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
