(L.A.) Anthony Davis Jr., 40, Died From a Meth OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anthony Davis Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Methamphetamine Intoxication

Other Significant Condition: Acute Bronchopneumonia

RIP ANTHONY DAVIS JR. (January 22, 1985 – January 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
