(L.A.) Anthony Antunez, 55, Died at a Bus Stop

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old male that occurred at a bus stop.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Anthony Antunez and listed his race/ethnicity as Hispanic+White/Caucasian.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

RIP ANTHONY ANTUNEZ (February 11, 1970 – April 20, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:31 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, substance overdose.
