Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Anitra Ransom.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis of Lower Extremity

Cause of Death C: Immobility Status Post Left Above-Knee Amputation

Cause of Death D: Acute Limb Ischemia of Unknown Etiology

Other Significant Conditions: Acute Cocaine Intoxication, Diabetes Mellites, and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
