Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Anibal Zacarias Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Smoke Inhalation and Thermal Burns

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:34 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 29, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
