(L.A.) Angelo Cedillo, 19, Died in Sun Valley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital’s parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Angelo Cedillo.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Torso

This appears to have been a shooting at a Ralphs supermarket in Sun Valley.

Video description: Gunfire erupted inside a Ralphs supermarket in Sun Valley late Tuesday night, leaving a 19-year-old male fatally shot and another teen injured.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at the Ralphs supermarket on the 8300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard. Authorities set up a crime scene inside one of the store’s aisles, and a perimeter was also established outside the market.

LAPD officers reviewed the store’s security footage and observed a physical altercation between two groups. One person opened fire at the other group, striking two individuals.
