(L.A.) Angelica Gonzalez, 60, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old female of Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Angelica Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Phencyclidine (PCP) Intoxication

Cause of Death B: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Cause of Death C: Atrial Fibrillation

RIP ANGELICA GONZALEZ (January 17, 1963 – February 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:55 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.
