Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Head Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:11 p.m.

The decedent had been arrested by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff on February 27, 2018, for 245(A)(1) – Assault with Deadly Weapon or Assault with Force Likely to Produce Grave Bodily Harm.

In the medical examiner’s parlance, “private residence” indicates it was not the decedent’s own home.
