(L.A.) Andres Rodriguez, 50, Died at a Community Center

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred at a community center.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Andres Rodriguez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP ANDRES RODRIGUEZ (August 16, 1973 – February 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:40 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Andres Rodriguez” in public records.
