(L.A.) Andre Ross, 59, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Andre Ross.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP ANDRE ROSS (March 3, 1965 – March 22, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
