(L.A.) Amanda Hayes, 48, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Caucasian female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Amanda Hayes.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Bupropion, Doxylamine, and Trazodone

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:02 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

Bupropion, sold under the brand name Wellbutrin among others, is an atypical antidepressant primarily used to treat major depressive disorder and to support smoking cessation.
