(L.A.) Alfredo Luna, 70, Died From a Drug OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 70-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Alfredo Luna.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: History of Diabetes

RIP ALFREDO LUNA (October 3, 1953 – June 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:12 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early September, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Alfredo Luna” in public records.
