(L.A.) Alfredo Canelo, 31, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk in Pico Rivera.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alfredo Canelo.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds

RIP ALFREDO CANELO (June 21, 1992 – March 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:01 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies had responded at around 9:50 p.m. to the 9300 block Slauson Avenue, between Rosemead and Passons boulevards, where they found the man lying on the sidewalk near a bus stop.
