(L.A.) Alfred Gonzales Jr., 64, Died from COVID by Accident 🤪

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity that occurred at his residence on Budau Avenue.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alfred Gonzales Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Covid-19

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension; Phencyclidine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:50 p.m.

This case was ruled an accident because it was the accidental overdose of phencyclidine (PCP) that precipitated the death. Notice, however, that because the corpse tested positive for COVID-19, the primary cause of death was listed as COVID.
