(L.A.) Alfred De Tremont, 91, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 91-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Alfred De Tremont.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustion and Thermal Injuries

RIP ALFRED DETREMONT (May 1934 – February 24, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The fire happened between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m at 812 North Crescent Heights Boulevard in the Beverly Grove area.

LAFD said that two people were transported to a hospital. The decedent’s 85-year-old wife Patricia survived in fair condition.
