(L.A.) Alexis Velez Sanchez, 24, Died in Downey

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male that occurred on the Golden State Freeway in Downey.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Alexis Velez Sanchez.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday night.
His female companion was pronounced dead just past midnight.
