(L.A.) Alexis Perez, 28, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alexis Perez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP ALEXIS PEREZ (August 7, 1996 – January 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 6:18 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
