(L.A.) Alexis Martinez Juarez, 27, Died at a Narcotics Anonymous

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Hispanic male that occurred at a Narcotics Anonymous.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Alexis Martinez Juarez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP ALEXIS MARTINEZ JUAREZ (July 17, 1995 – June 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:05 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Alex Martinez” in public records.
