(L.A.) Alexander Larios, 20, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the young man as Alexander Antonio Aguilar Larios.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Back

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 9:18 p.m.
The decedent was shot by LAPD in the Pacoima area.
Reps of the Foothill Division Gang Enforcement Detail were conducting a traffic stop on a black BMW sedan near Carl Street and Carl Place at around 8:50 p.m when the front passenger got out of the BMW and ran towards a nearby housing complex.
At some point during the chase, officers opened fire on Larios. He reportedly had a handgun on him.
The shooter has been identified as Foothill Area’s Police Officer III Daniel Ramirez, Serial No. 40184.
In the year 2022, Ramirez received more than $190,000 in taxpayer money for regular pay, overtime pay, and health and retirement benefits.
A similar high-profile case happened in June 2020 when 19-year-old Andres Guardado Pineda was fatally shot in the back by a sheriff’s deputy.
