Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alberto Godines.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP ALBERTO GODINES (April 22, 1971 – August 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 11/12, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
