(L.A.) Albert Tovar, 44, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Albert Tovar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP ALBERT TOVAR (April 7, 1979 – August 31, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:33 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
