(L.A.) Adina Nevo, 4, Died in Valley Village

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a four-year-old White/Caucasian female in Valley Village.

The coroner’s office identified the girl as Adina Nevo.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take three to five months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The child was apparently left inside a locked vehicle. Authorities initially thought it was a boy and relayed that info to media outlets.
