Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a four-year-old White/Caucasian female in Valley Village.

The coroner’s office identified the girl as Adina Nevo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Environmental Hyperthermia

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

The child was apparently left inside a locked vehicle and died from overheating. Authorities initially thought it was a boy and relayed that info to media outlets.
