(L.A.) Adam Fabac, 33, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Adam Fabac.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Hydromorphone

Other Significant Conditions: Chronic Ethanol Abuse, Chronic Pancreatitis and Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:10 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 29, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.

Hydromorphone belongs to a class of drugs called opioids, which includes morphine. It has an analgesic potency approximately two to eight times greater than that of morphine and has a rapid onset of action. On the street, hydromorphone is referred to as D, Dillies, Dust, Footballs, Juice, or Smack.

Service was at Wayfarers Chapel, 5755 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.
