(L.A.) Abraham Chavez, 21, Died in Lakewood

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street in Lakewood.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Abraham Chavez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds to the Back

RIP ABRAHAM CHAVEZ (February 24, 2003 – December 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:30 p.m.

The decedent was killed as a result of a shooting that was reported at around 8:15 p.m. at Alburtis Avenue and 207th Street.
