Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Charles Allen.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine and Methamphetamine

RIP CHARLES ALLEN (December 28, 1966 – May 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:30 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 18, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.
