(L.A.) Keith Shepard, 61, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Keith Shepard.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl and Methampetamine

Other Significant Conditions: History of Chronic Tobacco Use, Schizophrenia and Prostate Cancer

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 9:20 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
