(L.A.) Anthony Davis, 60, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Anthony Davis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

RIP ANTHONY DAVIS (May 21, 1962 – November 8, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:17 a.m.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose. The coke induced either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Anthony Davis” in public records.
