(L.A.) Craig Hamilton, 51, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Craig Hamilton.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Effects

RIP CRAIG HAMILTON (March 17, 1971 – November 26, 2022)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:22 a.m.

Presumably, this was ruled an accident instead of a natural death from heart disease because it was the cocaine use that precipitated the death.
