Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Hurst, Jr.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease
RIP JAMES HURST, JR. (May 14, 1969 – April 19, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:57 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
