(L.A.) Darren Reppen, 55, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Darren Reppen.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP DARREN REPPEN (June 21, 1967 – March 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 9:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
