Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 19-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the young woman as Kayla Stewart, resident of Hidalgo Avenue in Alhambra 91801.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Consequence of Malnutrition and Cachexia

RIP KAYLA STEWART (March 25, 2001 – June 4, 2020)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:41 a.m. at Garfield Medical Center in Monterey Park 90001.

The decedent died during the early part of the COVID panic.
