Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Hispanic male that occurred in a hallway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Leny Hernandez Aboites.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Hemoperitoneum

Cause of Death B: Spleen Rupture

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Use

RIP LENY HERNANDEZ ABOITES (September 1, 1987 – April 11, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:19 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 31, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
