Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Latin American male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Maximino Franco.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Heroin and Methamphetamine

RIP MAXIMINO FRANCO (December 27, 1960 – January 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:33 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
