(L.A.) Matthew Kim, 8, Died From a Gunshot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an eight-year-old Korean male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the boy as Matthew Kim.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP MATTHEW KIM (December 11, 1997 – April 9, 2006)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:02 a.m.

The decedent and his mother were shot dead by his father Sang-In Kim who then killed himself. His 16-year-old sister Bina survived.
