(L.A.) Alexis Hernandez, 27, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Alexis Hernandez. Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Medrano.

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Ethanol Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 10:23 p.m.

On April 2, the medical examiner belatedly corrected the decedent’s birth year from 1999 to 1995.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 27, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
