(L.A.) Calvin Calloway Sr., 67, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Calvin Calloway Sr.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Fentanyl and Oxycodone
Other Significant Condition: Hypertension
RIP CALVIN CALLOWAY SR. (February 28, 1956 – March 14, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:09 a.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
