(L.A.) Arturo Marquez Rodarte, 48, Died on the 10 Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred on the 10 Freeway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Arturo Marquez Rodarte.

Manner and cause of death have not yet been officially announced by the medical examiner; the information will be added to this page as soon as it becomes available.

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Saturday morning.

The decedent appears to have been involved in a two-vehicle accident at around 2:25 a.m. He may have been in a green pick-up truck.

Location: Eastbound I-10 at the La Brea Avenue off-ramp, Mid-City

LAFD and CHP had jurisdiciton.
