(L.A.) Allen Pool, 68, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Allen Pool.

CManner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Congestive Heart Failure

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP ALLEN POOL (February 10, 1955 – February 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 4:44 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 18/19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.

This was ruled an accidental drug overdose.
