Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 87-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Mena.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Complications of Blunt Force Cervical Spine Trauma

Cause of Death B: Cervical Spine Fracture (C5 Spinous Process Fracture)

Other Significant Conditions: Congestive Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation, Hypertension, Dementia
