(L.A.) Aysel Erdogan, a Baby, Died with Her Mother

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a White/Caucasian female.

The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Aysel Erdogan.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death A: Intrauterine Fetal Demise

Cause of Death B: Maternal Gunshot Wound

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

Intrauterine fetal demise is the medical term for a stillbirth.

The decedent’s mother Gül Erdoğan was shot by her husband Aytac Çamdeviren who then killed himself. This murder-suicide happened Friday morning, July 10. The child’s formal autopsy was dated July 12.

According to family and friends, the baby had already been living eight and a half months inside her mother’s womb. They were of Turkish origin.
