Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old male that occurred in a vehicle.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Nicolas Johnson and listed his race/ethnicity as White/Caucasian + Black.

The decedent was the son of prominent entertainment attorney Matt Johnson. His name is indeed spelled Nicolas and not the common spelling Nicholas.
He was driving along a winding stretch of Sepulveda Boulevard near the 405 Freeway when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a pole.
