(L.A.) Katherine Taylor, 62, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Katherine Taylor.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Recent Cocaine Use, Coronary Artery Congenital Anomaly, History of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Chronic Tobacco Use

RIP KATHERINE TAYLOR (September 9, 1960 – February 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
