(L.A.) Hector Arebalo, 45, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latin American male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Hector Arebalo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Alcohol Use

RIP HECTOR AREBALO (January 7, 1978 – February 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:35 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 22, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.

The government investigator indeed spelled the decedent’s surname as Arebalo and not the more common spelling Arevalo.
