This case was ruled as an accident instead of a natural death, presumably because it was the fentanyl that precipitated the death.
Helen Cordova, an intensive-care nurse at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, was the first person to get the vaccine in California, in December 2020.
Helen is the first to get a #COVID19 vaccine in CA. Today equitable & safe administration of vaccines begins with health care workers and Californians in long-term care settings.
