The coroner’s office identified the woman as Desiree Fernandez.

Cause of Death: Metastatic Breast Cancer

The decedent had been diagnosed with early-stage cancer in April 2024 and her family was raising funds then for a medical bill balance of $6,000 for a mastectomy.
